A full hot and cold shower in a space the size of your hand.

The GoCode Shower Port System is a compact stainless mixer valve, multi-setting shower head and braided hose that turns any wall in your build into a shower or rinse station. The quick-connect lets you pop the hose off and zip it into its pouch, so nothing rattles while you drive. It's the same plumbing kit that comes pre-installed in the GoCode FOLD Shower.

Fits: Universal, any van (Sprinter, Transit, ProMaster), RV, boat or camper with hot and cold water lines. Not compatible: builds without a hot water source if you want warm showers.

Why a shower port

Not every build has room for a full shower, but almost every build has a wall near the rear doors or inside a cabinet. A shower port puts a hot and cold mixer and a shower head right there, so you can rinse off after the beach, wash the dog or clean muddy gear without hauling jugs.

Pressure fill option

The Add Pressure Fill variant includes a stainless city water inlet. Hook up a hose at a campground and it fills your fresh tank at full city water pressure instead of gravity-feeding through a deck fill. It has a female 3/4 in garden hose thread inlet, a male 1/2 in NPT outlet and a check valve already installed.

Pick your spot

Popular spots are the rear door area, a side cabinet next to the sliding door, or inside an indoor shower. If you want the full fold-away shower with the pan and curtain, the FOLD Shower comes with this kit already installed.

The mixer valve mounts on a wall or cabinet panel, with hot and cold lines connecting behind it using the included 12 in supply hoses (1/2 in female). The 16 in hose runs from the mixer to the quick-connect. GoCode doesn't publish a separate manual for the Shower Port System, so reach out if you'd like help planning your layout.

Pressure fill install (from GoCode's guide)

Drill a 7/8 in or 1 in hole where you want the inlet.
Feed the inlet through the wall and place the gaskets in order.
Tighten the nut until snug, then the two auxiliary screws and the three back-plate screws.
Connect the 1/2 in NPT outlet to the fill port at the top of your fresh tank.

Mistakes to avoid

Check what's behind the panel before you drill, and leave room for the supply hoses to bend.
Install the pressure fill check valve with the front facing outward if you ever replace it.
Stow the hose in its pouch before driving so it doesn't rattle.

How to choose a van shower port

1. Do you have hot water?

A mixer valve needs both a hot and a cold line to give you a warm shower.

How to choose: Plan your water heater first. The Duoetto Gen 3 and Aqueous 6L are good starting points.

2. Indoor shower or outdoor rinse?

The same kit works on an exterior-facing wall at the rear doors or inside a shower enclosure.

How to choose: For a full indoor shower that folds away, get the FOLD Shower, which includes this kit. For a rinse station or an existing shower space, get the Shower Port System on its own.

3. How will you fill your tank?

Gravity filling through a deck fill is slow. A pressure fill inlet takes a hose at full city water pressure.

How to choose: If you fill at campgrounds or from a hose bib often, choose Add Pressure Fill.
