We sell things we believe in. If something fails under normal use, we want to know about it — and we want to fix it. Here's what that looks like.

Sandy Vans Products — What We Cover

This applies to every product picked, packed, and shipped directly by Sandy Vans.

Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use
Components that fail during normal operation
Damaged or defective parts on arrival — replaced, no hassle
Missing hardware — just message us with your order number

What We Don't Cover

Normal wear: scratches, scuffs, surface finish wear from regular use
Damage from improper installation or modifications outside our instructions
Damage from exceeding rated weight or load limits
Damage from use outside the intended application
Water or corrosion damage on products not rated for continuous moisture exposure

Claims Review

Every warranty claim gets reviewed by our team — vanlifers and engineers who know this gear and know what failure actually looks like. We trust you. We also need to make sure it's the product that failed and not the install. It's usually a quick process and we're not looking for reasons to say no — but we are looking closely.

Partner Products — Their Warranty, Their Terms

Products fulfilled by our partners are covered under that manufacturer's warranty — not ours. Coverage, duration, and claim process vary by brand.

When you have a claim, start with us. We'll reach out to the manufacturer on your behalf, get the process started, and make sure you're introduced to the right contact. Depending on their policy, they may work directly with you from that point — and we'll give you everything you need to make that handoff smooth. You won't be flying blind.
