Your Boost Box Mini just got a top deck.

The SV Boost Box Mini Crown is an aluminum rack that bolts on top of your SV Boost Box Mini. Throw chairs, firewood, water jugs and bags up top, strap them down, and hang wet gear off the hooks while you're still at the beach or the snow.

Fits: SV Boost Box Mini only.
Not compatible: The full-size Boost Box.

More room on top of the Mini

The Boost Box Mini is one of our best sellers. It goes on both the Starboard Rack and the Port Rack, and it swallows a lot of gear. The Mini Crown adds a rack on top for the bulky stuff that doesn't need to be locked up: chairs, firewood, water jugs and bags.

Hang it, strap it, mount it

The Crown is all aluminum with L-track and slots all the way around, so you can mount pretty much anything. Strap gear down with a bungee or tie-down, run straps around your rear rack, or add L-track hooks and track mounts.

The built-in hooks are our favorite part. After a day at the beach or the snow, hang wetsuits, board shorts and jackets off the back of the van to drip dry instead of soaking your interior.

Made for the Mini

The Crown is sized for the Boost Box Mini and only fits the Mini. It doesn't fit the full-size Boost Box. For the full-size box, look at the Ski Insert, Shelf Insert and Molle Panels.

The Crown bolts through the side of your Boost Box Mini with 1/4-20 bolts. The sides of the Crown have PEM nuts built in, so the whole thing goes together with about 15 bolts. Plan on 10 to 20 minutes.

Mistakes to avoid

Ordering it for a full-size Boost Box. The Crown only fits the Boost Box Mini.
Leaving gear loose up top. Strap everything down with a bungee or tie-down before you drive.
Overtightening into the PEM nuts. Snug the bolts down evenly.

1. Do you have the Boost Box Mini?

The Crown is made only for the SV Boost Box Mini. It does not fit the full-size Boost Box.

How to choose: Boost Box Mini: the Crown bolts right on. Full-size Boost Box: look at the Shelf Insert, Ski Insert and Molle Panels instead.

2. What will you carry up top?

The Crown is an open rack for bulky gear you strap down: chairs, firewood, water jugs, bags. Anything you want locked up goes inside the Mini.

How to choose: If you're out of room for big, non-valuable gear, the Crown is the easy win.

3. Do you deal with wet gear?

The built-in hooks hang wetsuits, board shorts and jackets outside the van.

How to choose: Surfers and snow riders: the hooks alone are worth it.
