Your Boost Box has a lot of wall. Make every inch of it hold something.

SV Boost Box Molle Panels bolt to the inside or outside of your Sandy Vans Boost Box. Mount traction boards, shovels, axes, and RotoPax on the outside, and hang Molle bags, hooks, and wet gear on the inside.

Fits: The Sandy Vans Boost Box. Current boxes come with pre-drilled, plugged mounting holes.
Not compatible: Boost Box Mini. Older Boost Boxes without the holes or plugs need to be drilled.

  • Black powder-coated aluminum
  • Mount inside, outside, or both. Inside and outside panels share the same bolts
  • Up to 8 Side panels and 4 Front (door) panels per box
  • Interior panels take hooks, bags, and hook-on shelves at whatever height you want

Choose your panels

  • Side Molle Panels: mount on the side walls of the box, inside or outside
  • Front Molle Panels: mount on the door, inside or outside (interchangeable)
  • 1 pair or 2 pair: one pair covers one surface. Two pairs let you cover the inside and outside of the same surface, or two different surfaces

Heading for the mountains? Add the Boost Box Ski Insert. Want the same setup on your rear doors? See the SV Rear Door Molle Panels.

Product Details

Turn the Boost Box into a gear wall

The Sandy Vans Boost Box is already the biggest exterior storage box we know of for the Sprinter. Molle panels make the walls and door work as hard as the space inside.

On the outside, mount the gear you want to grab fast: traction boards, shovels, axes, RotoPax. On the inside, hang Molle bags and hooks for hats, gloves, booties, and anything wet after a day of snowboarding, dirt biking, or mountain biking, so it dries in the box instead of soaking your van.

Inside, outside, or both

Side panels mount on the side walls of the box and Front panels mount on the door, inside or out. Inside and outside panels share the same bolts, so doubling up is easy. A fully loaded box can carry up to 8 Side panels and 4 Front panels. Interior panels also take hook-on shelves, so you can change shelf height for whatever you're carrying.

Built for the box

The panels are black powder-coated aluminum to match the Boost Box. Current boxes ship with pre-drilled, plugged mounting holes, so adding panels later takes minutes. Pair them with the Boost Box Ski Insert for a full mountain setup.

Current Boost Boxes ship with pre-drilled mounting holes closed with plugs. Pop out the plugs, line up the panel, and bolt it on. Plan on about 15 minutes.

If you're mounting panels on both the inside and outside of the same surface, the same bolts pass through and hold both panels.

Older Boost Boxes without the holes or plugs need to be drilled. Email products@sandyvans.com before you drill and we'll help with hole locations. There's no install video or printed manual for these panels yet.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Bolting on an outside panel before deciding on the inside. Inside and outside panels share bolts, so plan your layout first or you'll be pulling hardware twice.
  • Ordering Front panels for the box walls, or Side panels for the door. Side panels go on the side walls, Front panels go on the door.

How to choose Molle panels for your Boost Box

Boost Box Molle Panels are made for one box, so the choice is about where they go and how many you need. Here's how to plan it, in the order customers ask us.

1. Is your box ready for panels?

Current Boost Boxes have pre-drilled, plugged mounting holes. Older boxes don't have the holes or plugs and need to be drilled. The panels don't fit the Boost Box Mini.

How to choose: Look for the plugged holes on your box. No plugs means an older box: reach out before you drill.

2. Side or Front?

Side panels mount on the side walls of the box. Front panels mount on the door. Both can go inside or outside.

How to choose: Picture where the gear goes. Big, flat gear like traction boards usually works best on the outside of a side wall or the door; small items and wet gear go inside.

3. Inside, outside, or both?

Outside panels hold gear you want to grab fast. Inside panels keep gear locked up and out of the weather, and take hook-on shelves. Inside and outside panels on the same surface share bolts.

How to choose: If you'll want both eventually, buy 2 pair for that surface now and install them together.

4. How many panels?

The box holds up to 8 Side panels and 4 Front panels. One pair covers one surface.

How to choose: Count the surfaces you want to cover and order one pair per surface.

Before you order

  • Check your box for pre-drilled, plugged mounting holes
  • Confirm you have a Boost Box, not a Boost Box Mini
  • Decide Side, Front, or both
  • Decide inside, outside, or both
  • Count the pairs you need

  • Flexible: inside, outside, or both, with shared bolts.
