Put a tie-down point anywhere on your L-track.

This O-ring stud fitting clicks into L-track and gives your straps, bungees and carabiners a solid anchor. Pull the spring-loaded plunger, drop it in, slide it to where you need it, and let it lock. It works with the L-track built into our ladder rungs, roof deck, rear racks and interior shelves, and with any other standard L-track in your van or trailer.

Fits: Universal, any van or trailer with L-track: standard, aircraft-style, angled and recessed track.

Product Details

Tie-downs that go where your gear goes

L-track is the mounting rail of van life. It shows up on ladders, roof decks, rear racks and inside the van, and the O-ring fitting is what turns that track into a place to tie something down. Click one in, hook a strap, and your cooler, bikes or fuel cans stay put.

Strong for its size

Each fitting is rated for a 1,333 lb working load and a 4,000 lb assembly break strength, and it weighs about a tenth of a pound. The O-ring takes strap hooks, carabiners and rope.

Moves when your setup changes

The spring-loaded plunger locks the stud between the track openings. Lift it, slide the fitting to a new spot and let it drop back in. No tools, no bolts.

Built for our racks and ladders

L-track runs through our gear: the rungs of the SV Side Ladder, the SV Roof Rack Decking Panels on the SV Sandbar Roof Rack, the SV Port Rack and SV Starboard Rack on the rear doors, the SV Trail Tray and the SV Overhead Cab Shelf. These O-rings click into all of them.

There is nothing to bolt on. Each fitting clicks into L-track by hand in a few seconds and comes back out just as fast.

Mistakes to avoid

Not seating the plunger. Slide the fitting until the plunger drops into the track slots and the fitting stops moving.
Counting on the fitting rating alone. Your setup is only as strong as the weakest part: the track, how the track is mounted, the strap and the fitting.
Side-loading one fitting. Spread a heavy load across several fittings and pull straps along the track where you can.

These fit standard, aircraft-style, angled and recessed L-track. They do not fit E-track or other rail systems.

How to choose: L-track on your van, rack or trailer: they fit. Other track: they won't.

2. How much are you tying down?

Each fitting has a 1,333 lb working load limit. The real limit of your setup also depends on the track, how it is mounted and the strap you use.

How to choose: Use the lowest rating in your setup as your limit, and spread heavy loads over more fittings.

3. How many do you need?

Most loads get strapped from four corners. Bigger setups, like a roof deck or a rear rack plus the interior, use more.

How to choose: One item: 2 or 4 pack. A full load from four corners: 4 pack. Several racks or a roof deck: 8 pack.
