The Sandy Vans Hood Ditch Light Brackets give your Sprinter a clean look while putting auxiliary lighting exactly where you need it most. Positioned just below your windshield on the hood, these brackets let you mount a variety of lights. Lights mounted here illuminate your peripherals, extend visibility at distance while off-roading, or, most usefully, cast amber light to cut through fog, dust, and low-visibility conditions.

Choose your setup:

Brackets are sold in pairs. Single gives you one light position per bracket, the most common setup. Dual (Plate Included) adds a second light plate per bracket so you can run two lights, or pair a light with an antenna or cellular booster, angled independently. Add Amber or White POD Lights if you want lights shipped installed and ready to wire, or choose None to mount your own compatible auxiliary light pod.

The hood ditch position, just below the windshield, is one of the most versatile spots on a Sprinter for adding auxiliary lighting. It is high enough to extend your sightline well past your headlights, low enough to avoid the glare roof-mounted lights throw back off your own hood and windshield, and it keeps your light wiring close to the engine bay rather than routed all the way up to the roof.

Sandy Vans built this bracket to work for more than one kind of build. Running a single light on each side covers most people, amber pods here are a go-to for cutting through fog, dust, and mountain-pass low light. Building out a more connected rig? The Dual (Plate Included) option adds a second position per bracket so you can mount two lights, or pair one light with an antenna or cellular booster, angled independently to each other.

This is a bolt-on install using your Sprinter's existing factory hardware points, no drilling or permanent modification. Position the bracket in the hood ditch area, secure it with the included flat washer and Loctite nut, then attach your light pod or the included POD light to the bracket face.

On Dual (Plate Included) brackets, the second light position lets you angle each light or accessory independently, useful if you are running a light next to an antenna or cellular booster rather than two lights pointed the same direction. Use the included magnetic wire clip to route wiring under the hood. It keeps things rattle-free and out of the way of moving parts, which is worth doing right the first time since re-routing loose wiring after the fact is a hassle.

Will these fit my Sprinter?

These brackets are designed for 2019+ Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans (VS30 body). They are not compatible with pre-2019 Sprinters (NCV3), Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster, or the Mercedes-Benz E-Sprinter.

Do I need to drill to install these?

No. The brackets mount using your Sprinter's existing factory hardware points on the hood, so there is no drilling or permanent modification required.

What is the difference between Single and Dual mount?

Single mount gives you one light position per bracket (two total across the pair). Dual (Plate Included) adds a second light plate per bracket, so you can run two lights, an antenna, or a cellular booster side by side at different angles.

Are lights included, or do I buy them separately?
