SV Off-Road Lights are a matched pair of 7-inch round universal auxiliary lights. They're made to finish off the SV Front Bumper Light Bar, and they also mount to the aluminum air deflector on our SV Sandbar Roof Rack, which fits about five of them. At 8,000 lumens with a combo beam, they throw light far down the road and wide across the shoulder for night driving, dust, rain, snow, and fog. Each pair comes with a wiring harness and an on/off switch.

Made for our light bar and our roof rack

The SV Front Bumper Light Bar gives your Sprinter a solid platform for auxiliary lights. These are the lights we designed it around: a matched pair that sits on either side of the Mercedes emblem and looks like it came that way.

Bright where you need it

Each light puts out 8,000 lumens at 90W with a combo beam pattern. The center reaches far down the road, while the outer spread lights up the shoulder, trail edges, and the turn you're about to make. They're built for the conditions we drive in around San Diego and Baja: dust, coastal fog, rain, and long dark dirt roads.

Amber or white

Amber light reflects less off fog, dust, rain, and snow, so you see more of the road and less glare. White is brighter and more natural looking on clear nights. Both come as a pair with the same harness and switch.

Up top on the Sandbar Roof Rack

The SV Sandbar Roof Rack has an aluminum air deflector across the front that doubles as a light mount. It fits about five SV Off-Road Lights, so you can light up the whole trail ahead from the roof. It's one of our favorite things about that rack.

Plan on about 2 to 5 hours, depending on how you route the wiring and where you put the switch. The lights mount to the SV Front Bumper Light Bar with bar clamps, or to the aluminum air deflector on the SV Sandbar Roof Rack, and the included harness and switch power them.

Mistakes to avoid

Mock up the light position before you tighten the bar clamps. We like them offset on either side of the Mercedes emblem
Don't crank the light bar hardware down hard, it can put too much pressure on the factory bumper plastic
Keep the harness away from hot or moving parts when you route it to the switch

How to choose off-road lights for your Sprinter

1. Where will they mount?

Auxiliary lights need a solid mount. Lights on a flimsy bracket shake, aim badly, and blind oncoming drivers.

How to choose: Plan the mount first, then pick lights sized for it.

2. Amber or white?

Amber cuts glare in fog, dust, rain, and snow. White is brighter and shows true color on clear nights.

How to choose: Mostly coastal fog, dust, or weather: amber. Mostly clear nights on dirt roads: white.

3. Beam pattern

Spot beams reach far but leave the sides dark. Flood beams light the sides but don't reach. A combo beam does both.

How to choose: For a van that drives roads and trails, a combo beam is the most useful all-around choice.

4. Wiring

A harness with a switch makes install much simpler than wiring from scratch.

How to choose: Pick lights that come with a harness and switch so you're not piecing it together.

Great lights and easy install.

These are terrific lights, especially for the price — and it includes the harness. The harness I received wasn’t plug and play for a Sprinter VS30, so I had to connect to a positive wire extension I made to reach the battery under the driver’s seat. They team will walk you through everything. These are terrific lights.

I purchased these lights for my 2019 Sprinter

These look way better in person. I purchased the Amber lights. I love them. I had to buy an Owl Vans bracket to install these lights on the bull bar of my van. I wish SV had their own bracket. I’m tempted to buy 2 more.
