Why we install the Factory Race RIP Kit

Once a Sprinter carries a full build, the factory suspension sways, bottoms out and floats. The Agile Factory Race RIP Kit for the 2500 4WD/AWD is built around FOX 2.5 Factory Race internal bypass shocks with Agile-tuned coilovers, and it's tuned to your van's weight rather than sold one-size-fits-all.

What's in the kit

  • FOX 2.5 Factory Race Series internal bypass shocks
  • Agile-tuned front coilovers
  • Progressive rear leaf springs (your rate)
  • Front auxiliary shocks (if selected)

Picking your options

The leaf springs are built to your loaded rear axle weight, so weigh the van first. Reach out and we'll help you choose the spring rate and the rest of the options.

This is a professional-level install: the van comes off the ground on jack stands, the suspension comes apart front and rear, and the rear springs get swapped. Install time depends on the kit and your van; reach out and we'll quote it.

Before you start

  • Measure ride height front and rear first so you can see the change.
  • Weigh your rear axle loaded to confirm the spring rate.

How to choose a suspension kit for your Sprinter

1. Which Sprinter do you have?

How to choose: Agile kits are specific to 2500 or 3500 and 2WD or 4WD/AWD. This kit is for the 2500 4WD/AWD.

2. How heavy is your build?

How to choose: Weigh your rear axle loaded and pick the spring rate that matches.

3. How much rough-road driving?

How to choose: Mostly pavement and graded dirt: the Standard kit covers it. Frequent washboard and trails: step up to FOX 2.5 shocks and front auxiliary shocks. Racing pace or full-time overland: look at the adjustable FOX kits.

4. Do you have factory rear A/C?

How to choose: Front auxiliary shocks don't fit with factory rear A/C, so pick a kit or option without them.

Before you order

  • Sprinter 2500 4WD/AWD confirmed

Which spring rate should I pick for my 2500?
Weigh your van's rear axle loaded the way you travel, then pick the rate that matches. The 5400 lb rate is the one we put on most built 2500s. Not sure? Reach out and we'll spec it with you.
What does wheel hardware mean?
It matches the wheel spacer kit to your wheels: aftermarket alloy, Mercedes factory alloy or Mercedes factory steel, and the 16mm or 20mm stud size. Pick the one that matches the wheels you'll run.
Will it fit with factory rear A/C?
Per Agile, the front auxiliary shocks and mount kit don't fit vans with a Mercedes factory rear-mounted A/C unit. Choose None for the auxiliary shock option if you have one.
