The Agile Offroad Premium Ride Improvement Package (RIP) is built for 4WD and AWD Sprinter 2500 vans carrying a full build. It adds FOX 2.5 commercial rear shocks, Bilstein B6 front struts, a front auxiliary shock kit and custom leaf springs matched to your rear axle weight.

Fits: Mercedes Sprinter 2500 4WD/AWD, 2007 and newer (NCV3 and VS30). Not compatible: 2WD Sprinters or the 3500 (Agile makes separate kits).

Why we install Agile suspension

We install Agile suspension at our San Diego shop. Once a Sprinter carries a full build, the factory suspension sways, bottoms out and floats. The Premium RIP Kit fixes that without turning the van into a rough-riding truck.

Picking a spring rate

The spring rate is matched to your rear axle weight. The 5400 lb package is the one we put on most Sprinters. If you carry more weight, go up to the 6000. Call us and we'll spec it with you.

The Premium RIP Kit is a professional-level install: the van comes off the ground on jack stands, the front struts come out, and the rear springs get swapped. Plan on 9 to 10 hours of shop time. Agile's installation guide covers each step.

Before you start

Measure ride height front and rear first so you can see the change.
The install requires trimming the plastic fender well liners.
Factory rear A/C: per Agile, the RIP Kit fits vans with factory rear A/C, but the auxiliary shocks and brackets can't be installed because they interfere with the rear A/C lines.

After install

Re-torque the suspension after the first miles and check it at service intervals. Ask our team for the torque specs.

How to choose a suspension kit for your Sprinter

1. Which Sprinter do you have?

How to choose: Kits are specific to 2500 or 3500 and 2WD or 4WD/AWD. This kit is for the 2500 4WD/AWD.

2. How heavy is your build?

How to choose: Weigh your rear axle loaded. Pick the spring rate that matches. The 5400 lb rate is the most common on built Sprinters.

3. How much off-road driving?

How to choose: If you run washboard and dirt roads often, step up to commercial-grade rear shocks and front auxiliary shocks.

4. Do you have factory rear A/C?

How to choose: The kit fits, but the auxiliary shocks can't go on with factory rear A/C lines. Call us to plan around it.

Will it fit my Sprinter?

Which spring rate do I need?

It depends on your rear axle weight. The 5400 lb rate is the one we install most on built Sprinters; heavier builds go to 6000. Call us at (619) 812-1903 and we'll spec it with you.

Does it lift the van?

It's built for ride quality, not lift. Depending on load you may see 1 to 2 in of rear lift, and Agile offers a 4200 lb spring option with a 1 in lift.

I have factory rear A/C. Will it fit?

Per Agile, the RIP Kit fits, but the auxiliary shocks and brackets can't be installed because they interfere with the rear A/C lines.

Can you install it?

Yes. Reach out to our team to book it; we can often do same-week service. Plan on 9 to 10 hours of shop time.

Can you ship it?

No. It's pickup only at our San Diego shop.
