Your rear door windows are wasted space. Turn them into storage.

SV Rear Door Interior Cargo Pouches mount to the inside of your Sprinter's rear doors and turn the window and lower door panels into insulated storage. They're made from sail cloth, rugged mesh, and a layer of automotive-grade XPE insulation, so the window pouches also cover the glass for privacy and help with interior temps. Pair them with the SV Rear Upper Door Storage bags to fill the whole rear door.

The plastic interior window trim needs to be removed to install the window (Middle) pouches.

Fits: 2019+ Mercedes-Benz Sprinter rear doors, including Sprinter-based RVs and upfitters like Winnebago Revel, Storyteller Overland, and Airstream Interstate.
Not compatible: 2007-2018 NCV3 Sprinter, Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster.

  • Sail cloth, nylon, and mesh with an XPE insulation layer
  • Window pouches double as an insulated window cover for privacy
  • Elastic straps keep gear in place on rough roads
  • Push-in plastic clips into factory holes, no drilling, clips included
  • Great for towels, jackets, tools, and bedtime essentials

Choose your set:

  • Middle: a pair of pouches for the rear door windows
  • Lowers: a pair of pouches for the lower rear door panels
  • All 4: both pairs for the full window-to-floor setup

Complete the rear doors with the SV Rear Upper Door Storage bags up top. Want hard mounting points instead of fabric? See our SV Rear Door Molle Panels.

Product Details

Storage you reach from the bed or the back doors

The inside of your rear doors is prime real estate. It's right where you reach from the bed at night and right where you stand when you open the back of the van. SV Rear Door Interior Cargo Pouches turn that space into storage without taking an inch of living space.

Insulated, not just a bag

Every pouch has a layer of automotive-grade XPE insulation behind the sail cloth and mesh. On the window pouches, that means they also work as an insulated window cover: more privacy, less heat through the glass in summer, and less cold at night.

Pick your layout

Middle is a pair of pouches for the rear door windows. Lowers is a pair for the lower door panels. All 4 gives you both pairs. Add the SV Rear Upper Door Storage bags above them and the entire inside of both rear doors is organized.

Fabric pouches or MOLLE panels?

Our SV Rear Door Molle Panels cover the same spots with hard aluminum mounting points. You can technically mount pouches over the MOLLE panels, but most people choose one or the other: pouches for soft goods and insulation, MOLLE for bolting on gear.

What's in the Box

  • Pair of cargo pouches (Middle or Lowers), or both pairs (All 4)
  • Push-in plastic mounting clips
Install Time1 to 2 hours
DIY FriendlyYes, push-in clips
Drilling RequiredNo

The pouches install the same way as our SV Rear Upper Door Storage, with push-in plastic clips that go into the factory holes in your rear doors. All clips are included. Plan on about an hour per pair, depending on your van, not counting removal of the rear door plastic trim.

The install video on this page shows the SV Rear Upper Door Storage bag. The pouches use the same clips and the same method. There's no written manual. Questions? Reach out to our team at products@sandyvans.com or (619) 812-1903.

Install steps

  1. Remove the plastic interior window trim from the rear doors (window pouches)
  2. Push the outer half of each plastic clip through the holes in the pouch
  3. Line the clips up with the factory holes in the door and press each one in
  4. Push the inner plug into each clip until it's fully seated
  5. Repeat all the way around, then do the other door

Mistakes to avoid

  • Don't try to install the window pouches over the plastic window trim. Remove it first. Some customers have put the trim back on with slight modification. Customers have made it work but we don't support it.
  • Press hard on each clip so it's as far into the steel as possible before you push in the plug
  • Line up each pouch before you press in every clip so it sits straight

Tools You'll Need

  • Trim removal tool

How to choose rear door storage for your Sprinter

1. Will it fit your doors?

Rear door window and panel shapes changed between Sprinter generations.

How to choose: Buy storage cut for your door shape. These are made for 2019+ Sprinters.

2. Soft pouches or hard panels?

Fabric pouches are light, quiet, and insulated. Hard panels give you bolt-on mounting points.

How to choose: Soft goods, insulation, and privacy: pouches. Bolting on tools and gear: MOLLE panels.

3. How much of the door do you want to use?

The rear door has three zones: upper, window, and lower.

How to choose: Start with the window pair, or go All 4 and add the upper bags for the full door.

4. Does it install without drilling?

Some rear door storage needs rivet nuts or new holes.

How to choose: If you want an easy, reversible install, use factory holes and push-in clips.

Before you order

  • Confirm you have a 2019+ Sprinter
  • Plan on removing the plastic window trim
  • Pick Middle, Lowers, or All 4
  • Decide if you want the upper bags too

How the SV Cargo Pouches stack up

  • Fit: cut for 2019+ Sprinter rear doors
  • Insulated with XPE, window pouches double as a window cover
  • Push-in clips into factory holes, no drilling
  • Full door coverage with the SV Rear Upper Door Storage
What's the difference between Middle, Lowers, and All 4?
Middle is a pair of pouches for the rear door windows. Lowers is a pair for the lower door panels. All 4 is both pairs.
Do I have to remove the plastic window trim?
Yes. The plastic interior window trim needs to come off to install the window pouches, and we don't recommend keeping it. Some customers have put the trim back on with slight modification. Customers have made it work but we don't support it.
Is hardware included?
Yes. Every set ships with the push-in plastic clips you need.
Can I use these with the SV Rear Door Molle Panels?
Technically the pouches can mount over the MOLLE panels, but most people choose one or the other.
Will they fit my pre-2019 Sprinter?
No. The Middle and Lower pouches are made for 2019+ Sprinter rear doors and don't fit the 2007-2018 NCV3 Sprinter.
How long does install take?
About an hour per pair, depending on your van, not counting removal of the rear door plastic trim.
Do these go with the upper door bags?
Yes. Add the SV Rear Upper Door Storage bags above them to cover the whole inside of both rear doors.
Will this fit my Sprinter-based RV (Revel, Storyteller, Airstream, and others)?
Most Class B RVs built on the 2019+ Mercedes Sprinter share the same body, so it usually fits. Fitment can change with trim level and factory accessories, so reach out to our team at products@sandyvans.com or (619) 812-1903 with your model and year and we'll confirm before you order.
Do you install products for customers?
Yes. Many SV products can be professionally installed at our San Diego shop. Reach out to our team to schedule. Email products@sandyvans.com or call 619-812-1903.
What is your shipping and return policy?
Most SV products ship free. For returns, see our Returns & Refunds policy or reach out to our team at products@sandyvans.com.
Can I reach a real person with questions?
Always. We are a small team in San Diego. Email products@sandyvans.com or call 619-812-1903 and you'll get a real answer, not a chatbot.
