Product Details

Not every Sprinter build needs every window covered at once. Sandy Vans insulated window covers are sold individually so you can pick the position that matters most and add more as your build grows.

Four options: rear cargo door windows (pair), sliding door window, front cab door windows (driver and passenger pair), and the front windshield. Each uses automotive-grade XPE insulation and rare earth magnets. The windshield cover adds fiberglass rods sewn into the material to keep it stiff against the glass, working with your sun visors lowered.

No drilling, no mounting hardware. The magnets grip the metal window frames from the inside. One important check: if your Sprinter has plastic trim surrounding the glass, the magnets will not have metal to grab. Verify your frame material before ordering.

Covering the entire front cab? The Front Cab Window Cover Bundle includes the windshield and both front door covers as a set.

No tools required for any window cover in this lineup. All door and cargo covers attach via rare earth magnets pressed against the metal window frame, on in seconds, off in seconds.

For the windshield cover: lower the sun visors, seat the cover flush against the glass with the fiberglass rods facing inward, then raise the visors slightly to pin the top edge.

Magnet check: if your Sprinter has plastic trim rings surrounding the glass, the magnets will not have metal to grip. Verify your frame material before ordering, or reach out at products@sandyvans.com.

Each cover is independent so you can install one position at a time as your build grows.

Which Window Cover Should You Buy?

1. Start with the windows you sleep next to. Most Sprinter builders prioritize the rear cargo doors and sliding door first. Those are your bedroom walls for overnight stays.

2. Add the front cab once the bedroom is sorted. The front windshield is the most visible window from the outside and the hardest to block without a dedicated cover.

3. Front cab pair vs. bundle. If you want all three front cab windows covered at once, the Front Cab Window Cover Bundle is more efficient than buying the pair and windshield separately.

4. Magnet test before ordering. Hold a fridge magnet against your window frame. Holds means these covers work. Plastic trim rings block the magnetic hold entirely.

Cover Selection Guide

Rear Window Covers (pair): both rear cargo door windows, most common first purchase. Sliding Door Window Cover: the large sliding door glass, critical for privacy. Front Cab Covers (pair): driver and passenger door windows. Front Windshield Cover: full windshield with fiberglass rod stiffening.

Which window cover should I buy first?
Most van builders start with the rear cargo doors and sliding door -- those are the biggest windows and most critical for blackout while sleeping. Add the front cab pair and windshield next for stealth camping. Or grab the Front Cab Window Cover Bundle to cover all three front cab windows at once.
Will these work on my Sprinter?
Yes, all covers fit Mercedes Sprinter (all years). Door and cargo covers require metal window frames for the magnets to hold. If your Sprinter has plastic trim surrounding the glass, the magnets will not work -- hold a fridge magnet to your frame to verify. Contact us at products@sandyvans.com before ordering if unsure.
Do I need any tools to install?
No tools required. Door and cargo covers attach with rare earth magnets. The windshield cover uses the sun visor system: lower the visors, seat the cover against the glass, then raise the visors slightly. The sewn-in fiberglass rods keep the windshield cover stiff and flush.
Can I buy all four and get the same coverage as the Front Cab Bundle?
If you want the windshield plus both door covers, the Front Cab Window Cover Bundle is the more efficient option. Individual covers give you flexibility to add just what you need, including the rear doors and sliding door which are not part of the bundle.
What if my window frames have plastic trim?
The magnetic covers require metal frames. Plastic trim rings block the magnetic connection. Reach out at products@sandyvans.com before ordering if you are unsure about your frame material.
