Your rear doors are the biggest blank wall in the van. Turn them into gear storage.

SV Rear Door Molle Panels replace the factory plastic door covers on your 2019+ Sprinter with thick, powder-coated aluminum Molle panels. Strap on pouches, clip on hooks, hang wet gloves and jackets to dry, and keep recovery gear off the floor. Sold in pairs (left and right door) for the top, window, and lower sections of the doors.

Fitment note: the factory plastic rear door covers must be removed to install these panels.

Fits: 2019+ Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (VS30) rear doors.
Not compatible: 2007-2018 NCV3 Sprinter (different door shape), Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster.

  • .125" aluminum that doesn't flex when you cinch a strap
  • A section that accepts 1/4-20 hardware for mounting gear directly
  • Door handle cutouts, plus extra holes near the edges so you can use the whole panel
  • Spacers hold each panel 1" off the door so straps and clips pass behind it
  • Built-in bottle openers on the LOWER pair

Choose your pairs

  • TOP Pair: the upper section of both rear doors
  • WINDOW Pair: the middle section, around the rear door windows
  • LOWER Pair: the bottom section, with the handle cutout and bottle opener
  • ALL: all three pairs. Buying ALL costs less than buying the three pairs separately. Select ALL to see your savings.

Already running the SV Rear Upper Door Storage or the Rear Door Cargo Pouch? They use the same door space as the TOP and WINDOW pairs, so it's one or the other. Hooks and pouches are sold separately. Own a Boost Box? Check out the Boost Box Molle Panels.

Product Details

Use every inch of your rear doors

Open the back of most Sprinters and the doors are just plastic covers. That's a lot of wall space doing nothing while your gear piles up on the floor. SV Rear Door Molle Panels turn both doors into organized, strap-it-down storage you can reach the second the doors swing open.

Our head of product's favorite use is winter: wet gloves, jackets, and helmets hang on the doors to dry instead of soaking the bed. The rest of the year it's recovery gear, first aid kits, water bottles, hats, and whatever else you want within reach.

Thicker aluminum, fewer frustrations

A lot of door panels on the market are thin enough to flex, which makes it a fight to thread straps and mount anything solid. We went with .125" aluminum and a black powder coat, then added a section that takes 1/4-20 hardware, cutouts for the door handles, and extra holes near the edges so no part of the panel is wasted. Spacers hold the panels 1" off the door so straps pass behind them, and a plastic backer keeps small items from falling into the door.

Buy the pairs you need, or all of them and save

Each pair covers one section of both doors: TOP, WINDOW, or LOWER. Start with one, or get ALL three pairs for less than buying them separately. If you already have the SV Rear Upper Door Storage or the Rear Door Cargo Pouch, those take the same space as the TOP and WINDOW pairs, so choose one or the other for those sections.

What's in the Box

  • Left and right door Molle panels (1 pair per option, 3 pairs with ALL)
  • Plastic backers
  • 1" spacers
  • Bolts and washers

The panels bolt onto the inside of your rear doors in place of the factory plastic door covers, using the included spacers, washers, and bolts. No rivnuts.

There's no install video or printed manual for this product yet. If anything is unclear, email products@sandyvans.com or call (619) 812-1903 before you start.

Before you start

Remove the factory plastic door covers from each section you're covering. Lay out each pair (left and right door panel), the plastic backers, the 1" spacers, and the hardware so you know which pieces go on which door.

How it goes together

The plastic backer goes against the door so anything you drop can't slide into the door cavity. Each panel sits on spacers that hold it 1" off the door, which is what lets Molle straps and clips pass behind it.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Skipping the plastic backer. Without it, small items and loose hardware can fall into the door cavity.
  • Leaving out the spacers. The panel needs that 1" gap or straps and Molle clips won't fit behind it.
  • Mixing up left and right. Each pair has a panel shaped for each door, so match them before you bolt anything on.

How to choose rear door Molle panels for your Sprinter

Rear door Molle panels all look similar in photos. The differences show up when you start strapping gear to them. Here's what to check, in the order customers ask us.

1. Does it fit your doors?

The 2019+ Sprinter (VS30) and the 2007-2018 Sprinter (NCV3) have differently shaped rear doors, so panels are built for one or the other. Most panels also replace the factory plastic door covers, so plan on removing them.

How to choose: Confirm your model year, and check whether the panels need the factory door covers removed.

2. Panel thickness

Thin panels flex when you cinch a strap or hang something heavy, and threading straps through a floppy panel is frustrating. Thicker aluminum stays flat.

How to choose: Ask for the panel thickness. Around .125" aluminum is stiff enough to mount gear without flexing.

3. Room behind the panel

Molle straps and clips need space behind the panel. Panels mounted tight to the door limit what you can attach.

How to choose: Look for a standoff of about 1" and a backer that keeps small items out of the door cavity.

4. Coverage: which sections do you need?

Rear doors break into top, window, and lower sections. Some brands sell full sets only, others sell by section. Full sets usually cost less than buying every section separately.

How to choose: Decide which sections you'll actually use. If you want all of them, buy the full set.

5. What can you mount?

Molle grids take pouches, hooks, and straps. A section that accepts 1/4-20 hardware lets you bolt accessories on directly.

How to choose: Make a list of what you want on the doors and check that the panel can mount it.

Before you order

  • Confirm your Sprinter is a 2019+ (VS30)
  • Plan to remove the factory plastic rear door covers
  • Check for existing door storage that uses the same space
  • Pick your sections, or go with the full set
  • Line up the pouches, hooks, and straps you want to mount

Questions about your doors? Email products@sandyvans.com or call (619) 812-1903.

Do I have to remove my rear door covers?
Yes. The factory plastic rear door covers must come off for each section you're installing panels on. The Molle panels and their plastic backers take their place.
Will these fit my 2007 to 2018 Sprinter?
No. The NCV3 Sprinter's rear doors are a different shape. These panels are built for the 2019+ Sprinter (VS30).
What's the difference between the TOP, WINDOW, LOWER, and ALL options?
Each option is a pair (left and right door) for one section of the rear doors: TOP is the upper section, WINDOW is the middle section around the windows, and LOWER is the bottom section with the handle cutout and bottle opener. ALL includes all three pairs.
Do I save money buying ALL?
Yes. The ALL option costs less than buying the TOP, WINDOW, and LOWER pairs separately. Select ALL on the product page to see the savings.
Can I use these with the SV Rear Upper Door Storage or the Rear Door Cargo Pouch?
Not in the same spot. The Rear Upper Door Storage and the Rear Door Cargo Pouch use the same door space as the TOP and WINDOW pairs, so it's one or the other for those sections.
Are hooks and pouches included?
No. Hooks, pouches, and other Molle accessories are sold separately. Any standard Molle accessory works, and the 1/4-20 section lets you bolt gear on directly.
Do I need rivnuts or a rivnut tool?
No. The panels install with the included spacers, washers, and bolts.
Will this fit my Sprinter-based RV, like a Revel or Storyteller?
The SV Rear Door Molle Panels fits many Sprinter-platform RV and upfitter builds on the 2019+ chassis. Fitment depends on your trim level and existing accessories. Email products@sandyvans.com with your coach model and a photo before ordering and we'll confirm.
Do you install products for customers?
Yes. Many SV products can be professionally installed at our San Diego shop. Reach out to our team to schedule. Email products@sandyvans.com or call 619-812-1903.
What is your shipping and return policy?
Most SV products ship free. For returns, see our Returns & Refunds policy or reach out to our team at products@sandyvans.com.
