Unlike standard DC chargers, the Alpha50 R continuously adjusts in real time based on your battery’s needs. It functions as a true battery manager — not just a charger — delivering the correct charge profile for AGM, lead acid, Gel, standard and heated Lithium (LiFePO4).

Its built-in Green Power Priority™ automatically prioritizes solar input first, reducing strain on your alternator and helping improve fuel efficiency.

When paired with the included Smart Battery Monitor, the Alpha50 R can distinguish between energy going to your battery and power being used by your system loads. If charge current is set below maximum, it redirects unused capacity to run your loads directly — reducing battery cycling and extending lifespan.

Recover a flat start battery in as little as 15 minutes with the push of a button — or remotely through the RedVision app.

Excess solar? The Alpha automatically tops off your start battery once your secondary battery is fully charged, so nothing goes to waste.
