About the Role
We're looking for a college student or recent graduate to join our marketing team as a TikTok Marketing Intern. This role is focused entirely on growing our TikTok presence from the ground up - you'll dig into analytics, learn how the algorithm works, and use what you learn to shape our content and strategy.
This internship is unpaid for the first semester, with the opportunity to grow into a paid or full-time role based on performance and fit.
What You'll Do
- Own and grow the Sandy Vans TikTok channel from the ground up
- Film, edit, and post TikTok content consistently
- Dig into TikTok analytics to understand what's working and why
- Study and apply an understanding of the TikTok algorithm to improve reach and engagement
- Brainstorm and pitch content ideas and TikTok-specific strategies
- Build decks and presentations to share performance and strategy with the marketing team
- Present analytics, insights, and recommendations to the marketing team on a regular basis
- Stay on top of TikTok trends and bring fresh ideas to the team
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate (not a strict requirement)
- Genuinely active on TikTok and interested in how it works
- Comfortable filming and appearing in content, or skilled behind the camera
- Interested in analytics and comfortable digging into data and numbers
- Creative thinker with a good eye for what performs well on TikTok
- Reliable, organized, and eager to learn
- Able to work in office one day per week in San Diego
